On Saturday, April 25, 2009, RE/MAX Village Manor held their 2nd Annual Village-wide Yard Sale to Benefit the Floral Park Historical Society. The event was a huge success! We raised much-needed funds for the Historical Society and brought together many families for a fun day of shopping and bargaining! The funds will be used to help preserve the history of the Village for future generations. We hope to make the event in bigger in 2010! The Yard Sale will be held at participating residences throughout the Village of Floral Park. RE/MAX Village Manor is requesting a $25 donation from each participating yard sale residence on behalf of the Floral Park Historical Society. Donation Boxes will also be located at each sale on the day of the event. RE/MAX Village Manor will cover the permit fees, promote the sales and supply custom Yard Sale signs to the participants. “As a longtime resident and local business owner, my hope has been to establish an annual event that will bring the community together and help preserve the history of our Village.
